Amy has spent her entire career caring for children. From working in large and small daycare facilities to working as a private caregiver for local families, she has enjoyed seeing young people grow up and succeed. She has spent several years caring for special needs children and employs a variety of skills to help children communicate and master their environment.
Amy is happy to be a member of the Freeland Cooperative Preschool family and to help educate and socialize the three-year-old class. She’s excited to bring new experiences and ideas to the classroom!

Hello! I am Amy Hyatt and I am so excited to be teaching 4-year-old preschool at Freeland cooperative Preschool! I have been working with preschool and kindergarten age children for over 20 years and I absolutely love it. I received my degree in child development from Delta college and then my bachelor’s degree from Saginaw Valley State University. My husband and I have three children and we enjoy spending time outdoors, golfing and watching our kids’ sports. I am looking forward to getting to know you this year and making fun memories.
Our mission is to build confidence and a love of learning that will give every child a solid foundation for a happy and healthy life.
